“You don’t get a 2nd chance to make old friends” (unknown).

Our time spent in Boerne is rich in relationships with family & friends.  Many of the friendships go back decades and are true treasures to be guarded and valued greatly.

Early this week we were able to get out sailing on Boerne Lake & test Rich’s new Texas themed sails.  Great wind & exciting sailing.  Still a little cold, but fun.

Wendy and Brayden Hartson were able to join us for a while & we tried to keep Wendy as dry as we could (Brayden not so much).

Being here in Fair Oaks has made it easy to spend time visiting with Cindy’s parents for meals and life.  Also spent some time at Mom’s house with Kevin, Carol & Jessica.  Mom and Debbie had painted their nails earlier in the week and Jessica was helping Mom show off her manicure:

We made a decision to take the RV for repairs to Texas Coach in Pipe Creek since they will be able to start and finish the work sooner & seem to have a well organized, large shop.  Thankfully the exterior damage is not too severe & should be easy to restore.  We will be dropping the bus off there on Monday and hope to have it back in time for our return from Austin on the 7th.

A little bit of online boat shopping this week & still interested in seeing this 2005 Beneteau 473 in Kemah while we are here.  Looked a several houses this week & one we saw twice (7817 Rocking Horse), located on the same street as our previous home.  Great views & property, but larger than we think we would want & it has many levels and needs lots of upgrading. We are wondering about the wisdom of having 2 project homes.  Asking Father, family & friends for wisdom as we navigate these decisions.
